Whatever the evil (poison) is, it must be presented in a mix of something good, or good for you.
Rat poison is like this, 99.5% of the ingredients are tasty and nutritious for the rat
(otherwise, they wouldn't eat it, would they?).  Only .5% (1/2 percent) is deadly.
I am reminded of Dad's special brownies.  It is the same truth.

Pre-Emptive Strike

A letter to the London Observer
http://www.observer.co.uk
from Terry Jones (yes, of Monty Python fame).
Sunday January 26, 2003

I'm really excited by George Bush's latest reason for bombing Iraq: he's running out of patience. And so am I! For some time now I've been really pissed off with Mr. Johnson, who lives a couple of doors down the street. Well, him and Mr Patel, who runs the health food shop. They both give me queer looks, and I'm sure Mr Johnson is planning something nasty for me, but so far I haven't been able to discover what.

I've been round to his place a few times to see what he's up to, but he's got everything well hidden. That's how devious he is. As for Mr Patel, don't ask me how I know, I just know - from very good sources that he is, in reality, a Mass Murderer. I have leafleted the street telling them that if we don't act first, he'll pick us off one by one.

Some of my neighbours say, if I've got proof, why don't I go to the police? But that's simply ridiculous. The police will say that they need evidence of a crime with which to charge my neighbours. They'll come up with endless red tape and quibbling about the rights and wrongs of a pre-emptive strike and all the while Mr Johnson will be finalising his plans to do terrible things to me, while Mr Patel will be secretly murdering people.

Since I'm the only one in the street with a decent range of automatic firearms, I reckon it's up to me to keep the peace. But until recently that's been a little difficult. Now, however, George W. Bush has made it clear that all I need to do is run out of patience, and then I can wade in and do whatever I want!

And let's face it, Mr Bush's carefully thought-out policy towards Iraq is the only way to bring about international peace and security. The one certain way to stop Muslim fundamentalist suicide bombers targeting the US or the UK is to bomb a few Muslim countries that have never threatened us.   That's why I want to blow up Mr Johnson's garage and kill his wife and children. Strike first! That'll teach him a lesson. Then he'll leave us in peace and stop peering at me in that totally unacceptable way. Mr Bush makes it clear that all he needs to know before bombing Iraq is that Saddam is a really nasty man and that he has weapons of mass destruction - even if no one can find them.  I'm certain I've just as much justification for killing Mr Johnson's wife and children as Mr Bush has for bombing Iraq. Mr Bush's long-term aim is to make the world a safer place by eliminating 'rogue states' and 'terrorism'.  It's such a clever long-term aim because how can you ever know when  you've achieved it?

How will Mr Bush know when he's wiped out all terrorists? When every single terrorist is dead? But then a terrorist is only a terrorist once he's committed an act of terror. What about would-be terrorists?  These are the ones you really want to eliminate, since most of the known terrorists, being suicide bombers, have already eliminated themselves. Perhaps Mr Bush needs to wipe out everyone who could possibly be a future terrorist? Maybe he can't be sure he's achieved his objective until every Muslim fundamentalist is dead? But then some moderate Muslims might convert to fundamentalism. Maybe the only really safe thing to do would be for Mr Bush to eliminate all Muslims?

It's the same in my street. Mr Johnson and Mr Patel are just the tip of the iceberg. There are dozens of other people in the street who I don't like and who - quite frankly - look at me in odd ways. No one will be  really safe until I've wiped them all out. My wife says I might be going too far but I tell her I'm simply using the same logic as the President of the United States. That shuts her up.

Like Mr Bush, I've run out of patience, and if that's a good enough reason for the President, it's good enough for me. I'm going to give the whole street two weeks - no, 10 days - to come out in the open and hand over all aliens and interplanetary hijackers, galactic outlaws and interstellar terrorist masterminds, and if they don't hand them over nicely and say 'Thank you', I'm going to bomb the entire street to kingdom come.  It's just as sane as what George W. Bush is proposing - and, in contrast to what he's intending, my policy will destroy only one street.

A Lesson in Double-Mindedness
by Censorthis1@aol.com
contributed by D

[This is an interesting way of trying to make the point]

LET US ASSUME I AM VISITOR FROM ANOTHER PLANET...

I am told that you people spend somewhere approaching a quarter Trillion dollars every year (that's 250 Billion dollars per year) on a military establishment
to defend the American way of life.  And lets say I walk into a cozy restaurant, I being from outer space, I start talking to an average citizen, and he tells me
that he is an American and a Christian, and he apparently thinks the expendature of this much money is normal under the circumstances.

So I asked him, "why does America spend all this money?"

And he scratched his head, and said "Now that the Soviet Union is dissolved, I honestly do not know."

I said "well, why did you previously spend a quarter Trillion dollars a year on your military?" And he said "Oh! We wanted to defend ourselves from
communism!"

And I then asked "what is communism?"

And he said "Communism is an atheistic ideology that threatens freedom by military force to impose itself over our religious faith and against our free will,
thus enslaving us."

I was impressed with that definition, so i decided to see just how enlightened this person was.  I told him that I know a little something else about
communism, and I asked him if he knew what communism looks like when implemented?   He said "well, not exactly".

I asked him if he had been educated in the public school system? and he said "yes." So I assumed he had been educated on just what Americans are all
fighting against; the evil ideals of the infamous communist manifesto.

The communist manifesto was created by a fellow named Moses Mordecai Levi.  Most Americans know him as Karl Marx.  He looked as if he didnt know
that.  That puzzled me, but i continued.

I said, "The first plank of the communist manifesto states:

"Abolition of all property and land ownership and the application of all rents for public purposes."

I asked this Gentleman, "Do you own your own home?"

He said "Yes."

I said, "What happens if you stop paying your property tax?

He said "I can't, or the sheriff will sell it."

I said, "I am confused. How can the sheriff sell what you own?"

He was silent. So I said "isn't it a fact that you hold title to that property.  But in reality, the state where you live owns the land and that is why they can sell
it from you if you don't pay their rent?" And as he stared down at his weathered hands, I said "if you pay property tax, you practice the first plank of the
communist manifesto. I had the opportunity to read this relatively thick book called the Bible, the Bible you Christians seem to live by; and what Americans
use to sware their oaths on; and from what i have read, you Americans are in clear violation of Leviticus 25:23 if you pay property tax."

He looked even more puzzled; i thought he had known this...

The second plank of the communist manifest is: "Heavy progressive income tax."

You people don't fill out state form 1040's here, do you? and you don't fill out form 1040's for the federal government, do you? Because if you do, you
practice the second plank of the communist manifesto and you are in violation of your Bible at Malachi 3:8 and Deuteronomy 4:13.

He quickly loosened his tie...

I said the third plank of the communist manifesto is: "Abolition of all rights of inheritance."

I said "How long have you lived in America?" He said "All my life." I said "You don't have any probate courts here, do you? You don't have a legal profession
that is teaching you to fill out wills instead of creating trusts, do you? Because if you, or anyone you know, has been through probate court, you have
practiced the third plank of the communist manifesto and you are in violation of Deuteronomy 21:15-17 and Numbers 18:20-24."

He quickly reached for a napkin to wipe his forehead...

The fourth plank of the communist manifesto is: "Confiscation of property of all immigrants & rebels."

You don't turn on the TV around April 1st and watch your government drag tax protestor off to jail, do you? "Yes" was his reply.  Then I asked him if his local
newspaper ever prints tax foreclosure and delinquincy notices?  He said "all the time."  Well, I said, "if you participate in that or allow that to happen, or if
that has happened to you, that's the fourth plank of the communist manifesto, and it is a violation of Leviticus 26:17 and Proverbs 28:1."

His eyes started to glaze over...

I looked at him and said the fifth plank of the communist manifesto is:  "Centralization of credit by the creation of a national bank."

I said, "You pay your debts to society in silver, don't you? You don't discharge your obligations with credit, do you?" He started to squirm. I said "if you rely
on this green paper money for your survival, if your mind thinks in terms of this green paper when you go to purchase things, you practice the fifth plank of
the communist manifesto, and you are in violation of Leviticus 19:35-36, Deuteronomy 25:13-16 and the aforementioned nasty and nefarious Exodus 20:15.
EXODUS 20: 15 reads THOU SHALT NOT STEAL..."

He started to become painfully uneasy....

I said, the sixth plank of the communist manifesto is: "Centralization of the means of communication & transport in the hands of the state."

"You don't have ports of entry out here on the Interstate, do you?  Your trucks don't have to drive in and out of these scales, do you?  You don't drive
automobiles with the admiralty flag of the state on the back with the yearly rental fee stuck in the middle on a sticker, do you? Your government doesn't
control the media, do they?  Because if they do, they and you practice the sixth plank of the communist manifesto and you are in violation of Deuteronomy
7:2 and Exodus 23:32-33."

He started to twitch uncomfortably...

I said the seventh plank of the communist manifesto is: "Government control of factories and the instruments of production owned by the state; the
bringing in to cultivation of wastelands and the use of the soil in accordance with a common plan."

I said, "You don't have a Bureau of Land management, do you? You don't live under the administrative circumstance of the Department of Agriculture, do
you? And you don't have companion circumstances in the state law along with EPA and a host of other things, because if you allow yourself to live under
that system, you practice the seventh plank of the communist manifesto and you are in violation of Leviticus 25: 1-7, actually Leviticus 25: 1-10.

He closed his eyes tightly as he forced himself to breathe...

I said the eight plank of the communist manifesto reads: "Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for
agriculture."

I said, "Do you have a Social Security number?" I assumed yes, as he shook his head up and down slowly. I said "well doesn't that mean that you're a
fourteenth Amendment juristic person, a merchant in interstate commerce under contract over time for profit and gain in a regulated enterprise and you have
waived all your constitutional rights under contract in exchange for privileges, franchises and immunities?" He said "Privileges?" I said "yes, privileges!
PRIVATE LAW: Privilege." His hands instinctively clenched. I said "If you have a Social Security number, you practice the eighth plank of the communist
manifesto, and you are in violation of your Bible at Leviticus 19:13 and Deuteronomy 24:14&15."

He became physically agitated...

Number nine, I said: "A combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries. Gradual abolition of the distinction between town and
country by a more equitable distribution of population over the country."

"You don't have a Federal Emergency Management Association, Do you? You don't have FEMA at the state level, do you?  Because is you do, you
practice the ninth plank of the communist manifesto and you're in violation of Leviticus 25: 1-7.

By this time he was just plain angry...

I finished by quoting the tenth plank of the communist manifesto: "Free education for all children in public schools.  Conform education with
industrial productions."

I said "Are you a homeowner?" He said "yes." I said "you pay the property tax?" He said "Yes." I said "Do you know where 75% of the property tax goes in
this state?" He said "no." I said "It goes to support the public school system. I looked at him, I said "You don't send your children off to the state to get
educated, do you? You raise them at home the way Yahweh told the original Moses to tell you to do, don't you?" As he got up and walked away, I said "If
you support the public education establishment, you are in violation of Deuteronomy 4: 9-10, Deuteronomy 6: 1-25 and Deuteronomy 11:19.  And you
practice the tenth plank of the communist manifesto."

As he stopped and turned back toward me,  the look of a wild animal about to kill flickered across his eyes, i relaxed my tone and suggested these words.

"It looks as if this is all new to you; I apologize for this,  but what i am trying to figure out is, why would Americans allow their government to knowingly
spend 250 Billion "fake dollars" a year from your pocket, defending themselves against something that your government has willfully and consciously
implemented under the guise of the color of law, and that demands that the people practice every second of every minute of every hour of every day, under
the guise of democracy and not the truth, which is communism? Is that sick or what?

He said, "My God, I never thought about that! What do you think we should do?"

I said, "Probably what you failed to do all along; and that is think for yourself; and listen to Yahweh and act in his best interest.  Which is your best
interest.  It does seem that is why the bible is here in the first place. Demand the bible be implemented instead of communism.  It seems the future of
America depends on it."

Good luck

The New Agents of Paralysis
by Michael A. Hoffman II

via THE HOFFMAN WIRE - Feb. 12, 2003
contributed by D

Faithless pagans masquerading as Christians and patriots, are stampeding in abject fear and panic before the forces of Ariel Sharon as deployed by George Bush

The arrest in Tennessee of German-Canadian revisionist campaigner Ernst Zundel on an immigration technicality, has led to the latest chapter in the "Sky-is-Falling" Chicken Little scenario, for which the Right Wing is notorious. When the Y2K mountebanks were peddling their highly profitable "end of civilization as we know it" bunk, right wingers were hunkered down in their well-stocked fortresses, dutifully paralyzed with fear and trembling with expectation of The End. Meanwhile, the Left proceeded as usual to attempt to occupy positions of power and to march, teach and protest.

Now the Zundel arrest is being used to stoke fears of an impending Stalinist police state which is on the verge of sweeping all but the most timid little mice into a Federal gulag, while once again the Left is proceeding to fight even as we are told to cower.

There are two principal hallmarks of a pagan land and a slave society: (1) all are compelled to work seven days without rest, and (2) something or someone is feared besides God.

I was visiting the Amish during part of the Establishment-fueled Y2K panic. The horse-powered Amish are renowned as highly productive farmers. On Sunday they do no work, other than necessary chores, yet they out-produce their pagan neighbors who are running $100,000 Case tractors and combines night and day. In 1999, Lehman Hardware, a supplier of non-electric technology to the Amish located in Kidron, Ohio, was overwhelmed by Y2K Chicken Littles scurrying into Kidron from all over America, brandishing thousands of dollars in cash, and buying every lantern, windmill and water pump in sight.

"I hope they know there's no way we're going to let them return all that stuff" said one of the old Kidron clerks, who was no more hysterical about Y2K than Left wingers were. When asked about his preparations for Y2K, the Lehman clerk said with a twinkle in his eye, that he would, "probably cut an extra cord of firewood."

The Y2K panic reaped rich dividends for more than just the false prophets and con-men who stoked its flames. Millions of dollars that could have gone toward buying a city newspaper, a radio station or a college were squandered on "survival gear," while whole families were reduced to penury as they sold everything and relocated to the backwoods. Just as the Cryptocracy intended, the movement to "occupy until Christ returns" and ensure that "His will be done on earth as it is in heaven," was set back years as the fearful scrambled in fulfillment of the cues their useful idiot "patriot" leaders had seeded on behalf of Pharaoh.

To combat this deadly trend, in the 1990s I crafted a series of audio-tapes entitled, "Y2K Millennial Madness" and "Agents of Paralysis" which exposed the hysteria and urged calm and continued work on behalf of reforming our nation and educating our people. Those tapes assisted at least my own listeners and subscribers in avoiding the waste that was the Y2K "Apocalypse."

Perhaps it is time to produce a new tape series along these same lines for, once again, faithless pagans masquerading as Christians and patriots, are stampeding in abject fear and panic before the forces of Ariel Sharon as deployed by George Bush.

By a remarkable coincidence, as Europe, some NATO nations and large segments of the American people exhibit a growing skepticism toward the need for a war against Iraq, Rabbi bin Laden has stepped forth rather conveniently, with another disembodied pronouncement that just happens to corroborate the claims of Powell and Rumsfeld. By yet another marvelous happenstance, the streets of cities like New York have overnight been transformed into armed garrisons, with helmeted, automatic weapons-toting officers stationed at street corners, as "proof" of the pernicious peril posed by Sadistic Saddam, who, President Bush has revealed, would dare to do as the Israelis do, and use civilians as "human shields."

Meanwhile, the Leftists have planned their biggest, noisiest, most defiant demonstrations for this weekend. The Leftists know that the Cryptocracy wants them to cower, to shiver and to run, and they are doing just the opposite. They're being told to sit down and instead they are standing up!

Courage like this was not always an exclusively Leftist trait. King George III told our people, through his mouthpiece Samuel Johnson, writing in "Taxation No Tyranny," that they had no right to secede from the British Empire and could be compelled by force to return. In 1861 King Lincoln declared the same iron message to the South, and today a new King George decrees that we have no right to secede from Jewish supremacy and mass murder ("collateral damage") of Palestinian and Iraqi civilians.

2003 is the time to stand tallest, speak the loudest and march the farthest in protest of the hijacking of our nation by cowards and morons entirely beholden to Zionist terrorists like Wolfowitz, Perle and Sharon. Where are the pickets in front of the jail where Zundel languishes? Where are the invitations to radical speakers to visit your church halls and school halls to educate your circle concerning the actual facts of state terror in the Middle East?

If no resistance is occurring or planned in your circle, then join the Left at their meetings, protests and marches. Knowing the System wants to paralyze and intimidate us should tell us that we must be more active and defiant than ever! The Christians among us are especially convicted in this regard. The Bible clearly commands that you fear no one but God. By the Biblical standard, if you fear the US government, then the US government is your god.

Frederic Douglass wrote, "Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground...Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what people will submit to and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them...The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."

How much injustice and wrong will you submit to, my fellow Americans?

[Hoffman's most recent book, with co-author Moshe Lieberman, is The Israeli Holocaust Against the Palestinians now stirring a hornet's nest of controversy in the British media]

Immigration & Health Care
After a great misery for mankind an even greater approaches. The great cycle of the centuries is renewed: It will rain blood, milk, famine, war and disease. In the sky will be seen a fire, dragging a tail of sparks.    ---Nostradamus, Century 2, Quatrain 46 (1654)

First, a couple of current items that don't warrant extended discussion.  Well, actually, they do, but I'll leave that to others for the moment.

We've all heard about little Jessica, the girl whose first heart/lung transplant was botched because of mismatched blood types.  She got a second transplant a few days ago, but has just died.  The mother wants the doctors to go to jail.  Massive civil lawsuit sure to follow.

What you didn't hear is that she and her mother are illegal aliens, spirited across the Mexican border specifically to get Jessica free American medical treatment.

Reportedly, 16 Americans die each day for want of transplants.  Jessica got two inside one week.

It seems uncaring to complain about this state of affairs, but what about the two Americans who died this week because they didn't get the heart/lung combinations given to Jessica?  You haven't heard a thing about them, have you?  What if one of those was your father, mother, husband, wife, son or daughter?
-------------------

Disarm
Second, did you notice the media smoothly follow the lead of Bush the Second in characterizing our impending adventure in the Middle East as an endeavor to "disarm" Iraq?  What happened to our being concerned about only "weapons of mass destruction?"  Of course, whatever happened to our pursuit of Osama, for that matter?  "Disarm."  Amazing, isn't it?  Nothing up his sleeves, ladies and gentlemen...
-------------------

This is Really NEAT

[Could this be Nibiru or Planet X?  "Twice the size of Jupiter (about 22 times the size of earth)"]

Something else truly amazing is taking place in the solar system at this moment.  A huge comet is rounding the sun, a comet twice the size of jupiter (about 22 times the size of earth).  Some have seen it at sunrise and sunset; otherwise, it is not visible because it is occluded by solar glare.  Essentially, it is coming from behind the sun and was first observed by NASA less than two months ago.

NASA's solar observatory has released a number of pictures of this comet, but those stopped just as a huge coronal mass ejection (an event which is to the hydrogen bomb as the hydrogen bomb is to a firecracker) erupted from the sun toward the comet.  Some call these things "sunspots."

This comet is passing within 9 million miles of the solar surface.  In celestial terms, that is a very near miss.

You haven't heard about this, have you?

Remember the hullabaloo over Hale/Bopp and Levy/Shoemaker?  They were pikers by comparison with what has been dubbed Comet "NEAT."

Why all the silence this time?

I have read a good deal of speculation on several different internet sites. Some see it as biblical prophecy fulfilled (see Revelations - you might agree).  Some consider this to be "Nibiru" or "Planet X," foretold by the Mayans as passing through the solar system every 3600 years or so.  Some consider this simply to be an awesome photo opportunity.

Some say the strange weather on Earth lately is the result of an effect caused by the sun which in turn is responding to Comet NEAT.

Electromagnetic fields reach hundreds of millions of miles into space, you see, and are generated by all celestial objects.  Influences occur at distances far in excess of that between the sun and comet Neat or, for that matter, between Earth and comet Neat.

The sun has a regularly-repeating solar "sunspot" activity cycle of approximately 11 years.  2000 was to have been the most recent peak.  Solar activity, rather than dropping off in year 12, as it always has, has continued to rise ever since.

Earth's magnetic field has been weakening in an accelerating fashion of late.  The North Pole, which wanders anyway, has traveled almost as far in the past 20 years as it did in the 100 years prior to that, when it was located in Canada's northern Yukon Territory.

Some hypothesize that Earth's poles reverse when its magnetic field reaches zero.  The geological record proves the poles have shifted many times down through the history of the Earth (metal flakes in lava align with the magnetic field, to be frozen in place when the lava cools, you see, just like the needle in a compass).  Coincidence?  Perhaps.

Maybe it is nothing.  Maybe it is something.  If something, it could be the most significant occurrence in recorded human history.

Generally, the concern is not that Comet NEAT will strike Earth or even come near us (though I have yet to see a good description of its path relative to Earth).  Rather, the concern is for the effect upon us through the electromagnetic interaction between it and Earth and the Sun.  There is a secondary concern that something this huge could have smaller objects following in its wake, or that pieces of it broke off during the massive solar flare when it passed near the Sun, pieces that might find their way to Earth.  "Planet buster" asteroids can be as small as 1/3 mile in diameter.

Just five days ago, a Rand Corporation (government think tank) scientist, Dr. Geoffrey Summer, publicly stated that secrecy would be the best option if it were discovered that an asteroid were about to hit the earth:  "Overreaction not just by the public but by policy-makers scurrying around before the thing actually hits because we can't do anything about it anyway ... to a large extent you are better off not adding to your social costs."

Go here for one of NASA's official web pages carrying photographs of this comet:  http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/hotshots/2003_02_12/

Something tells me you should take a look right now, though.  Who knows if this will be available even tomorrow?

For the moment, my question is, "Why is there no media coverage of Comet NEAT?"

Of course, we all know how paranoid I am.

These are the Neighbors
contributed by Belinda

This could also be humor, but these are the neighbors.

Dear Abby: My mother died by suicide from inherited insanity when I was 3 years old, leaving myself, two older brothers and two sisters. One brother is an insurance agent, the other was just sentenced to death in the electric  chair for murder. Both my sisters are prostitutes and my father is a drug-dealer. Recently I met a girl I want to marry very much. My problem is this -- if I marry this girl, should I tell her about my brother who is an insurance agent?

Dear Abby quotes (these are for real):

DEAR ABBY: A couple of women moved in across the hall from me. One is a middle-aged gym teacher and the other is a social worker in her  mid-twenties. These two women go everywhere together and I've never seen a man go into their apartment or come out. Do you think they could be Lebanese? CURIOUS

DEAR ABBY: I have a man I never could trust. Why, he cheats so much I'm not even sure this baby I'm carrying is his.

DEAR ABBY: I am a twenty-three-year-old liberated woman who has been on the pill for two years. It's getting expensive and I think my boyfriend should share half the cost, but I don't know him well enough to discuss money with him.

DEAR ABBY: I suspected that my husband had been fooling around, and when I confronted him with the evidence he denied everything and said it would  never happen again.

DEAR ABBY: Our son writes that he is taking Judo. Why would a boy who was raised in a good Christian home turn against his own?

DEAR ABBY: I joined the Navy to see the world. I've seen it. Now how do I  get out?

DEAR ABBY: My forty-year-old son has been paying a psychiatrist $50 an hour every week for two-and-a-half years. He must be crazy.

DEAR ABBY: I was married to Bill for three months and I didn't know he  drank until one night he came home sober.

DEAR ABBY: My mother is mean and short-tempered. I think she is going  through her mental pause.

DEAR ABBY: I met this nice guy who was in the service. He's the chief  petting officer.

DEAR ABBY: Are birth control pills deductible? KAY
DEAR KAY: Only if they don't work.

DEAR ABBY: Our son was married in January. Five months later his wife had a ten-pound baby girl. They said the baby was premature. Tell me, can a baby this big be that early? WONDERING

Anti-Gene Pool

A previous writing entitled “Anti-Me” tried to explain how many people could not be anti-Semitic if in fact we all arise from the same gene pool.  The premise being the gene pool leading to Noah was first known as Semites.  Hence, any who claims lineage through Noah (biblically everyone) must be Semite.  It follows that those who claim Abraham as their forefather must also have come from Noah.  What this ultimately means is that most peoples today of several cultures, religions, nationalities and such, whether European, Arab, Palistine, Islam, Jew or such, all claim heritage from Abraham.  So, if we all come through Abraham we all must be descendants of Semites.  So, if you are Semite, you cannot be anti-Semite, unless you are anti-yourself.

The fact is there has been, and is, a political movement to make modern “jews” more special than they are.  Anyone who seems to be contrary to modern “jews” are labeled anti-Semitic.  This is a tactic known as villainization or demonization.  This tactic is intended to draw away attention and redirect it.  So if attention is drawn towards a modern “jew” and the attention is somehow perceived as negative, then attention must be refocused on the perceived attacker, whereby putting them on the defensive.  An example of this might be if someone robs a bank, and when caught or accused of the deed, they claim their accuser is a child molester.  Now the public attention is focused on the allegation of child molestation and the robbery is push out of public concern.

Now I present a scientific genetic study on the matter.

Back in September 2001, the journal of Human Immunology, Volume 62, Issue 9, published a report entitled “The Origin of Palestinians and their Genetic Relatedness with other Mediterranean Populations”.  As soon as the publication hit the stands, librarians and other keepers/sellers of the periodical were instructed to literally rip/cut the OFFENDING report from every copy of the journal.  This made it seemingly impossible to read the report.  I was quite interested in the reports of this article and did some research to find it.

To read the whole of this article goto anti-gene_pool

REMEMBER --
There is considerable debate regarding who, today, inhabits the Middle East lands.  The official pary line of those modern “jews” claim

"STRICTLY SPEAKING IT IS INCORRECT TO CALL AN ANCIENT ISRAELITE A 'JEW' OR TO CALL A CONTEMPORARY JEW AN ISREALITE OR A HEBREW." (1980 Jewish Almanac, p. 3) (Under the heading of "A brief History of the Terms for Jew")

If this is accurate, then the general populace of the modern “jew” knows they are not Semite.  Hence, if you declare something contrary to a modern “jew”, you cannot be anti-semitic.

Trial Set in Southwest Racist Rhyme Suit
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A53999-2003Feb10.html
The Associated Press Monday, February 10, 2003; 8:39 PM
contributed by D

[This reminds me of the time a few years ago when a Congressman and new media used the word "niggardly" and some blacks took offense and caused the word to be retracted and apology given.  Ignorance may be a bigger problem than alleged racism.]

A judge has set a trial date in a discrimination lawsuit filed against Southwest Airlines by two black passengers who were upset when a flight attendant recited a version of a rhyme with a racist history.

Grace Fuller, 48, and her sister Louise Sawyer, 46, were returning from Las Vegas two years ago when flight attendant Jennifer Cundiff, trying to get passengers to sit down, said over the intercom, "Eenie, meenie, minie, moe; pick a seat, we gotta go."

The sisters say the rhyme was directed at them and was a reference to its racist version that dates to before the civil rights era: "Eenie, meenie, minie, moe; catch a n----- by his toe."

"It was like I was too dumb to find a seat," Fuller said. Sawyer said fellow passengers snickered at the rhyme, which made her feel alienated.

The sisters are seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.

U.S. District Judge Kathryn Vratil last week dismissed the sisters' claims of physical and emotional distress but set trial for March 4.

"The court agrees with plaintiffs that because of its history, the phrase `eenie, meenie, minie, moe' could reasonably be viewed as objectively racist and offensive," Vratil wrote. The second line of a modern version of the rhyme usually goes, "Catch a tiger by the toe."

Airline attorney John Cowden said there was no intent to discriminate against any passenger.

Cundiff, who is white and was 22 at the time of the incident, said she had never heard the offensive version of the rhyme. She said she learned the Southwest version from co-workers and used it as a funny way of getting passengers - who are not assigned seats on Southwest - to sit down.

Plaintiffs' attorney Scott Wissel said the sisters also want Southwest to stop using the rhyme and provide employee training to prevent such incidents.

Do not get her anything for Valentine’s Day

In a world of women who want equality with men, Valentine’s Day is an archaic patriarchal social construct that condescends to women and reduces their affection to a “prize” to be won, with a box of candy and some roses.

If you really want to impress her, do not even mention Valentine’s Day.

"Chutzpah", Irish style
Thanks Paul and D

Saddam Hussein was sitting in his office wondering whom to invade next when  his telephone rang.

"Hello! Mr. Hussein," a heavily accented voice said. "This is Paddy down  in the Harp pub in County Sligo, Ireland. I am ringing to inform you that  we are officially declaring war on you."

"Well, Paddy," Saddam replied, "This is indeed important news! How big is  your army?"

"Right now," said Paddy, after a moment's calculation, "there is meself, me  cousin Sean, me next door neighbour Seamus, and the entire dart team from  the pub. That makes eight!"

Saddam paused. "I must tell you, Paddy, that I have one million men in my  army waiting to move on my command."

"Begorrah!" said Paddy. "I'll have to ring you back!"

Sure enough, the next day, Paddy called again. "Mr. Hussein, the war is  still on! We have managed to acquire some equipment!"

"And what equipment would that be, Paddy?" Saddam asked.

"Well, we have two combines, a bulldozer, and Murphy's old farm tractor."

Saddam sighed. "I must tell you, Paddy, that I have 6,000 tanks and 4,000  armoured personnel carriers. I've increased my army to 1.5 million since we  last spoke."

"Saints preserve us!" said Paddy. "I'll have to get back to you."

Sure enough, Paddy rang again the next day. "Mr. Hussein, the war is still  on! We have managed to get ourselves airborne! We've modified Harrigan's  ultra-light with a couple of shotguns in the cockpit, and four boys from the  Shamrock pub have joined us as well!"

Saddam was silent for a minute and then cleared his throat. "I must tell  you, Paddy, that I have 1,000 bombers and 2,000 fighter planes. My military  complex is surrounded by laser-guided, surface-to-air missile sites, and  since we last spoke, I've increased my army to TWO MILLION!"

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph!" said Paddy. "I'll have to ring you back."

Sure enough Paddy called again the next day. "Top o' the mornin' Mr.  Hussein! I am sorry to tell you that we have had to call off the war."

"I'm intrigued," said Saddam. "Why the sudden change of heart?"

"Well," said Paddy, "we've all had a long chat over a few pints, and there's  no way we can feed two million prisoners."

The Debauchery of American Womanhood: Bikini vs. Burka
By Henry Makow Ph.D.  September 18, 2002
http://www.savethemales.ca/180902.html
contributed by D

On my wall, I have a picture of a Muslim woman shrouded in a burka.

Beside it is a picture of an American beauty contestant, wearing nothing but a bikini.

One woman is totally hidden from the public; the other is totally exposed. These two extremes say a great deal about the clash of so-called "civilizations."

The role of woman is at the heart of any culture. Apart from stealing Arab oil, the impending war in the Middle East is about stripping Arabs of their religion and culture, exchanging the burka for a bikini.

I am not an expert on the condition of Muslim women and I love feminine beauty too much to advocate the burka here. But I am defending some of the values that the burka represents for me.

For me, the burka represents a woman's consecration to her husband and family. Only they see her.

It affirms the privacy, exclusivity and importance of the domestic sphere.

The Muslim woman's focus is her home, the "nest" where her children are born and reared. She is the "home" maker, the taproot that sustains the spiritual life of the family, nurturing and training her children, providing refuge and support to her husband.

In contrast, the bikinied American beauty queen struts practically naked in front of millions on TV. A feminist, she belongs to herself. In practice, paradoxically, she is public property. She belongs to no one and everyone. She shops her body to the highest bidder. She is auctioning herself all of the time.

In America, the cultural measure of a woman's value is her sex appeal. (As this asset depreciates quickly, she is neurotically obsessed with appearance and plagued by weight problems.)

As an adolescent, her role model is Britney Spears, a singer whose act approximates a strip tease. From Britney, she learns that she will be loved only if she gives sex. Thus, she learns to "hook up" rather than to demand patient courtship and true love. As a result, dozens of males know her before her husband does. She loses her innocence, which is a part of her charm. She becomes hardened and calculating. Unable to love, she is unfit to receive her husband's seed.

The feminine personality is founded on the emotional relationship between mother and baby. It is based on nurturing and self-sacrifice. Masculine nature is founded on the relationship between hunter and prey. It is based on aggression and reason.

Feminism teaches woman that feminine nature has resulted in "oppression" and that she should convert to male behavior instead. The result: a confused and aggressive woman with a large chip on her shoulder, unfit to become a wife or mother.

This, of course, is the goal of the social engineers at the NWO: undermine sexual identity and destroy the family, create social and personal dysfunction, and reduce population. In the "brave new world," women are not supposed to be "nest" makers, or progenitors of the race. They are meant to be neutered autonomous creatures that indulge in sex for physical pleasure, not for love or procreation.

At his press conference on Sunday, Donald Rumsfeld said that Iranian women and youth were restive under the rule of the Mullahs. He implied that the US would soon liberate them. To Britney Spears? To low-rise "see-my-thong" pants? To the mutual masturbation that passes for sexuality in America?

Parenthood is the pinnacle of human development. It is the stage when we finally graduate from self-indulgence and become God's surrogates: creating and nurturing new life. The New World Order does not want us to reach this level of maturity. Pornography is the substitute for marriage. We are to remain stunted: single, sex-starved and self-obsessed.

We are not meant to have a permanent "private" life. We are to remain lonely and isolated, dependent on consumer products for our identity, in a state of perpetual courtship.

This is especially destructive for woman. Her sexual attraction is a function of her fertility. As fertility declines, so does her sex appeal. If a woman devotes her prime years to becoming "independent," she is not likely to find a permanent mate.

Her long-term personal fulfillment and happiness lies in making marriage and family her first priority.

Feminism is another cruel New World Order hoax that has debauched American women and despoiled Western civilization. It has ruined millions of lives and represents a lethal threat to Islam.

I am not advocating the burka but rather some of the values that it represents, specifically a woman's consecration to her future husband and family, and the modesty and dignity this entails.

The burka and the bikini represent two extremes. The answer lies somewhere in the middle.

Property Rights
contributed by D

"Now what liberty can there be where property is taken away without  consent?" - Samuel Adams  (Nov 20, 1772)

"Property must be secured, or liberty cannot exist." - John Adams   ("Discourses on Davila," 1790)

"The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as  sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and  public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If 'Thou  shalt not covet' and 'Thou shalt not steal' were not commandments of  Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before   it can be civilized or made free."  - John Adams, A Defense of the American Constitutions, 1787

"The true foundation of republican government is the equal right of every citizen in his person and property, and in their management." -   Jefferson, to which he added - the defense of private property is the standard by which "every provision" of law, past and present, shall be judged. (Bergh, Albert Ellery, ed. "The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, 2d ed. rev." Washington Thomas Jefferson Memorial Association, 1907, p. 1532.

"In the general course of human nature, a power over a man's subsistence [i.e., property] amounts to a power over his will." -  The Federalist (number 79, by Alexander Hamilton)

" 'Property' is more than just the physical thing-the land, the bricks, the mortar-it is also the sum of all the rights and powers incident to ownership of the physical thing. [t]he right to use the physical thing to the exclusion of others is the most essential and beneficial. Without this right all other elements would be of little value.' "  - Dickman v. Commissioner, 465 U.S. 330, 336 (1984).

"Each of us has a natural right to defend his person, his liberty, and his property." -- Frederic Bastiat

"A man's right to defend his property has long been recognized at common law...[P]erhaps a government edict barring one from resisting the loss of property is the constitutional equivalent of taking such property in the first place..."  -  Justice Bryon White
"We call a tyrant the leader whose only law is that of his own whim, who expropriates the property of his subjects, and then drafts them to go take that of their neighbors."  - Voltaire, "Tyrannie", Dictionnaire Philosophique, 1764

"It is too bad that the overall value to human beings of their basic right to private property is so widely and prestigiously denied. It is one of the most beneficent institutions and certainly the bulwark against any kind of tyranny, be it that of a ruling party, a dictatorship, or even of a democratic majority." - Tibor Machan, Hoover Institution research fellow

"No person shall be...deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation." - Article 5, The Bill of Rights

"When buying and selling are controlled by legislation, the first things to be bought and sold are legislators."  -  P.J. O'Rourke

"In general the art of government consists in taking as much money as possible from one class of citizens to give to the other." --Voltaire

"Asset forfeiture laws are a license for legal looting by law enforcement."  - Harry  Browne, circa 1997 cautioned, regarding the passage of  these measures:

"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others.  I do not add "within the limits of the law," because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."  - Thomas Jefferson

"The opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional and what not, not only for themselves in their own sphere of action but for the legislature and executive also in their spheres, would make the judiciary a despotic branch. To consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions [is] a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.... The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal." - Thomas Jefferson

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time, a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it." -- Frederic Bastiat, The Law, 1846

"The sacred rights of property are to be guarded at every point. I call them sacred, because, if they are unprotected, all other rights become worthless or visionary. What is personal liberty, if it does not draw after it the right to enjoy the fruits of our own industry? What is political liberty, if it imparts only perpetual poverty to us and all our posterity? What is the privilege of a vote, if the majority of the hour may sweep away the earnings of our whole lives, to gratify the rapacity of  the indolent, the cunning, or the profligate, who are borne into power upon the tide of a temporary popularity?" -- Judge Joseph Story, 1852

If a PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals [what an oxymoron]) member were suddenly stranded on an island in a Northern or Southern sea, and if this island had plants and animals, what would the PETA member eat?  What if the season is Winter or turns to Winter, what would the PETA member eat?

After a time, and the clothing of the PETA member becomes tattered, and Winter comes, what will the PETA member do for protection from the weather?

These same questions could apply for a time many years past, before, the wholesale manufacture of cloth, or to a time in the future if a catastrophe affects, or ends, the industrial nature of the world.  What would a PETA member do?

I guess they would end our misery from their nuisances by dying of starvation or exposure.

A Legitimate Question

A little political review, a time to think & remember...  From a Navy man...

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and Injured 1,000;

President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 And injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, D.C.that are now dead would be alive today.

AN INTERESTING QUESTION: This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting stones, it is a legitimate question. There are two men, both extremely wealthy.  One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why was it that the Clinton Administration spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the past eight years than Osama bin Laden? THINK ABOUT IT!  It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets an $8 Million advance for her memoirs. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. This from two people who have spent the past 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath!

If you lived as a child BEFORE THE 80'S.
by Leon Naude'
provided by Jan

Looking back, it's hard to believe that we have lived as long as we have, but I suppose the its the journey rather than the destination....

As children, we rode in cars with no seatbelts or airbags. Riding in the boot of an estate car was always a special treat.

Our baby cribs/cotts were covered with bright-coloured lead-based paint. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets, and when we rode our bikes we had no helmets. (Not to mention hitchhiking to town as a young kid!)

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a sealed bottle. Horrors.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we forgot there were no brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. No mobile phones. Unthinkable.

We played ball games and sometimes the ball would really hurt. We got cut and broke bones and broke teeth, and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. They were accidents. No one was to blame but us. Remember accidents?

We had fights and punched each other and got black and blue and learned to get over it.

We ate bikkies, bread and butter, milk in glass bottles and drank cordial and Groovy, but we were never overweight ... we were always outside playing. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and no one died from this.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo 64, X-Boxes or any sort of video game, 99 channels on DSTV, video movies, DVDs, surround sound, personal computers or Internet chat rooms ... we had friends.

We went outside and found them. We rode bikes or walked to a friend's home and knocked on the door, or rang the bell or just walked in and talked to them. Imagine such a thing. Without asking a parent! By ourselves! Out there in the cold cruel world! Without a guardian. How did we do it?

We made up games with sticks and tennis balls, paper...even mud. We ate worms, tasted all kinds of things. Although we were told it would happen, the  worms did not live inside us forever.

We played rugby and cricket and netball and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment.

Some students were not as smart as others, so they failed a grade and were held back to repeat the same grade. Horrors! Tests were not adjusted for any reason or because it was politically correct.

Our actions were our own. Consequences were expected. No one to hide behind. The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke a law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law. Unbelievable!!    We even got caned regularly by parents and teachers. Imagine that!

This generation produced some of the best risk-takers and problem solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years has been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.  We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.

The Great Deception
http://www.taxableincome.net/

"Conventional wisdom," even when provably incorrect, is a very powerful thing.  People often find it uncomfortable to question things they have always taken for granted.  The sky is blue; one plus two equals three; and most Americans owe federal income taxes.  Everyone knows that.

Contrary to what "everyone knows," the truth of the matter is this: Congress could not, and did not, impose a tax on the income of most Americans, because of the strict limits on federal power imposed by the Constitution.  Instead, they imposed a far more limited income tax, applicable primarily to income from certain types of international and foreign commerce, but wrote the law in such a way that it could easily be misinterpreted.  The law itself is perfectly valid and constitutional; it is simply being misrepresented and misapplied by the tax professionals and government officials.  As a result, tens of millions of Americans now make payments to the IRS based on the false assumption that they are just paying "their taxes."  In reality they are being defrauded via the myth that the income of most Americans is taxable.

Of course such a claim at first sounds absurd, but the evidence does not lie.  Here is a very brief summary of the issue:

     1)    The federal income tax is imposed upon "taxable income" (not all income).

     2)    "Taxable income" generally means "gross income" minus deductions.

     3)    "Gross income" is generally defined as "all income from whatever source derived," including compensation, interest, rents, dividends, etc.

Up to this point, the tax professionals agree.   It is what comes next that they are either unaware of, or unwilling to accept when they see it in plain English in the law books.

     4)   Certain sections of the law specifically describe in which situations income from inside the United States is taxable.

     5)    While those sections show income to be taxable when it derives from certain kinds of international and foreign commerce, they do not show the income of United States citizens living and working only in the 50 states to be taxable.

Amazingly, points 4 and 5 above are specifically and repeatedly stated in the federal income tax regulations, yet most tax professionals simply refuse to believe it.   As if that were not bad enough, there is yet another, completely independent way that the regulations prove the truth.

     6)    The regulations show that the types of income listed in the general definition of "gross income" (such as compensation, interest, rent, etc.) are in some situations excluded for federal income tax purposes.

     7)    The income tax regulations give a specific list of those types of income which are not exempt (i.e. which are taxable), and while that list includes income derived from certain types of international and foreign commerce, the income of the average American is not listed as being non-exempt (i.e., taxable).

Some tax professionals will eagerly respond to the above by saying "don’t waste time looking into that stuff; it’s all nonsense."  Their income, careers, and reputations all depend upon the preservation of "conventional wisdom" concerning the income tax.  Most are literally psychologically incapable of even considering the possibility that their assumptions are incorrect.  (It is amazing to watch how some of these so-called "experts" respond when they are faced with what the income tax statutes and regulations actually say, as shown below.)

While so-called "tax experts" are likely to suggest that you just accept on faith that they know best about tax law, we at this site do not suggest that anyone just "take our word" for anything.  Ours is a system of written law, where the words of the law tell you what the law requires of you.  We believe that the readers of this site are competent enough to examine the evidence for themselves to determine what the law requires of them.  (In fact, the law requires you personally to determine what you owe.)

Click here to access the United States Code.
Click here to access the Code of Federal Regulations.
Click here to access Supreme Court rulings.

(Ironically, public faith in conventional wisdom about the income has been strengthened by the "tax protestor" movement spreading all sorts of theories and arguments, from the ineffective to the downright absurd.  Many people assume that if conventional wisdom about the income tax were incorrect, the "tax resistance movement" would know the truth.  Unfortunately, those protesting the tax or arguing that it is unconstitutional are also ignorant about what the law itself actually says.  Click here to see some of the more common "tax protestor" theories, and why they are incorrect.  The ultimate irony is that the pro-freedom advocates in this country have become gun-shy about questioning the conventional wisdom about the tax, precisely because of the failures of the "tax protestors.")

The truth about the law does not require any "creative interpretation" or leap of logic.  It just requires looking in the right place, reading carefully, and believing what the words in the law say in black and white.

"THE BRAIN POLICE" AND "THE BIG LIE"

Any time you allege a conspiracy is afoot, especially in the field of science, you are treading on thin ice. We tend to be very sceptical about conspiracies--unless the Mafia or some Muslim radicals are behind the alleged plot. But the evidence is overwhelming and the irony is that much of it is in plain view.

The good news is that the players are obvious. Their game plan and even their play-by-play tactics are transparent, once you learn to spot them. However, it is not so easy to penetrate through the smokescreen of propaganda and disinformation to get to their underlying motives and goals. It would be convenient if we could point to a plumber's unit and a boldface liar like Richard Nixon, but this is a more subtle operation.

The bad news: the conspiracy is global and there are many vested interest groups. A cursory investigation yields the usual suspects: scientists with a theoretical axe to grind, careers to further and the status quo to maintain. Their modus operandi is "The Big Lie"--and the bigger and more widely publicised, the better. They rely on invoking their academic credentials to support their arguments, and the presumption is that no one has the right to question their authoritarian pronouncements that:
1. there is no mystery about who built the Great Pyramid or what the methods of construction were, and the Sphinx shows no signs of water damage;
2. there were no humans in the Americas before 20,000 BC;
3. the first civilisation dates back no further than 6000 BC;
4. there are no documented anomalous, unexplained or enigmatic data to take into account;
5. there are no lost or unaccounted-for civilisations.
Let the evidence to the contrary be damned!

DANCING BALLOONS
Don Stott
http://www.gold-eagle.com/gold_digest_03/stott012503pv.html
provided by Larry

I remember going to New York back in the 50's and 60's. (Here goes another true story) Times Square was a riot back in those times. There was the Camel sign that blew smoke rings, and the Bond Clothing sign with a real waterfall. The Paramount Theatre was in operation, as was the Astor Hotel. Lots of "schlock shops," which purveyed the sleaziest of Oriental junk, and other assorted garbage 'take home' stuff for the unwary tourist. Then there was Rosie, who held forth on the Square with her long seedy robes, crown, sequined Bible and shepherd's staff. She bellowed at all the sinners, urging them to repent and be saved. Of course there were the "merchants" with folding tables and $10 Rolodex watches or three card monte games too, similar to a scene from a Damon Runyan film or story. The most unique and funniest of the shysters were the dancing balloon guys. They always had to be on a semi-dark street, off the Square, because it wouldn't work with bright lights. Here would be this guy with his quick fold table, and these balloons with little feet and a head, looking just like a miniature man. They danced! They jumped up and down, seemingly miraculously. They went for $3 as I remember, and of course the hicks bought them. Off in a corner, would be another guy, and if one looked carefully, his hands were locked in back of him, and a finger was moving wildly. A black thread was hooked to his finger, looped over a closed store's gate, over a street sign, and down to the "dancing" balloon. Till the cops arrived, they had a good thing going. "Follow the instructions," were the explanations given, as they pocketed the bucks.

Today, the world is full of the dancing balloon shysters. Be they salesmen of all types, or gypsies painting roofs with kerosene diluted paint, there are frauds by the hundreds, anxious to take your dollars with promises of untold riches, when the stock goes up, interest goes up, or whatever the current line is for the hucksters. Selling is an art, and there are thousands of cubicles in America, often called "boiler rooms," that are populated with people calling, calling, calling, with the latest gimmick or gimcrack you just have to have, in order to increase your wealth, or contribute to a seemingly wonderful charity. "Hello, this is the Policeman's Benevolent Fund calling, to try to get you to help the homeless children in Lower Slobovia,"…or whatever.

Faith is what is required. As in Hebrews chapter 11.

Faith that the dollar will still buy next year, close to what it buys today. Faith that the stock market will go up. Faith that Dubya knows what he is doing. Faith that a year from now United will still be flying. Faith is paramount, just like the theatres and film company. The thing to have faith in, first of all, is the thing that has a good record going back as far as is necessary to be sure. In a marriage it may be several decades, and in a religion, it may be hundreds of years. Knowledge supports faith. Knowledge of something mechanical, makes it easier to trouble shoot appliances or cars. Knowledge of the history of a stock or investment, provides faith that it won't go bust next week. Am I getting carried away? Maybe, but continue with these thoughts, please.

When one buys a stock, knowledge of that corporation's profits, assets, sales, and prospects, should determine whether it is a good buy. When the market went the way of all flesh a couple of years ago, the lack of knowledge, plus listening to the creeps in the cubicles, cost Americans $8 trillion. Had they the knowledge they should have had, they wouldn't have bought the stocks which had no profits at all. Even with no P/E ratios, some stocks were selling like hot cakes. Major stock brokerages, who hired the dancing balloon salesmen, knowing some stocks were turkeys, sold them anyway, for the commissions, and to hell with the customer. These firms are now paying hundreds of millions in fines. The customer needs to investigate and gain knowledge, to have the needed faith required to invest profitably. Faith in mining stocks, seems to be the current way to go. I own thousands of them, but think they may be oversold, due to their prices going up so fast and far, with little or no production or profits. One of my mine stocks added a million shares to their total, which is almost 50%. Guess what happened? The price fell by almost exactly that percentage. None of the stockholders had a say in it, or the power to veto it. The CEO did it, and I am sure the board of directors profited handsomely. Far too many mining stocks today have no profits, and negative P/E ratios. Several other mine stocks have been similarly diluted by management. Faith is what is required to buy them, and I have about lost mine. Some of them are like the NASDAQ at 5000.

What's the difference between the dollar supply being increased by huge percentages, thereby losing purchasing power, or that mine company doing the same thing, with the same result? Little, as far as I can see. A couple of weeks ago, a Federal Reserve Governor made the statement that the Fed has the "power of the printing press" at its disposal. (I'll bet Sir Allen had a fit over that statement) The mining company had the power of the printing press at its disposal also. The result is the same. Dancing balloons, made to operate by a thread strung over pipe in a dark street. A mine company prints a million shares. A government prints zillions of dollars. The fraud is so evident, that whoever can't see it, needs to get sent back to the first grade. Trillions of dollars sit in banks, earning 1% taxable interest. It's the faith in the dollar that is so difficult to overcome. When one has faith in a currency, politician, auto, or anything for that matter, that faith is extremely difficult to break. "Don't bother me with the facts, I have already made up my mind." Who is responsible for the World Trade Center bombing, and who failed to notify in time? The internet has gobs of explanations that blame everyone except my Aunt Tillie, and she was dead by then anyway, or maybe she did it. Should we have faith in our government, when it lies about so much? The government tells us Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK, TWA 800 was felled by bad wiring, and a hundred other fables, which most of us long ago realized were falsehoods. Should we still have faith in the dollar, even though it has lost 99% of its value? Why? Does the government have balloons that really dance, if we read the directions? Everyone saves in dollars, invests in dollar denominated instruments, and still believes that they have intrinsic value.

I wonder if the French really believed that the assignat had value, after it kept falling in value day after day? Did the Germans believe the Reichsmark still was "valuable," even as it fell down, down, down? Maybe they did. Americans, by huge majorities, still think the buck is sound. It is being printed by the ton every year, and is going down the tubes, even compared to other fiat currencies. They are pieces of paper with ink on them, and it's that simple. 90% of Americans die and live within 10 miles of their birthplace, it is said. Few ever change habits acquired in childhood. If your parents didn't teach you to speak correctly, have good table manners, or bathe regularly, you probably haven't changed in your adulthood. This is why the government still sells T-Bills, and trillions are tucked away in banks, both of which are dribbling away the capital of the owners of these certificates, even before taxes.

Words cannot express my hatred of dollars. I have changed since childhood. I don't live anywhere near Washington DC where I was born and raised. I have changed attitudes, economic habits, weights, wives, and preferences for all sorts of things. I changed because I found a better way, and am not sorry for that decision. If someone calls you, hawking something, who has the need? Isn't it the caller? If you call someone, isn't that an indication that you need something? Do grocery stores call you? Do doctors call you? Think about that one. We went to Salt Lake City last weekend, and Salt Lake City didn't call me, trying to get me there to buy rooms, concerts and shopping. We wanted to go. Next time someone calls you, telling you about his bargain or opportunity, ask yourself who has the need, and the answer will be the caller, not you. Protect yourself.

If you use gas or other petroleum products, you are supporting terrorism.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/12/20011214-2.html
"It's so important for Americans to know that the traffic in drugs finances the work of terror, sustaining terrorists, that terrorists use drug profits to fund their cells to commit acts of murder. If you quit drugs, you join the fight against terror in America."  --  President George W. Bush (December 14, 2001)

[Since about December 2001, the government and media have been running ads and campaigns to tell you that there is a connection between drugs and terrorism.  The following excerpts from two new outlets and the above reference to Bush’s speech of December 14, 2001, have been used to condition us to think we contribute to terrorism.  It might be true that drug purchases help finance foreign entities, but it is a proven fact that drug purchases help finance the government of the US and the CIA.  The CIA has long been bringing drugs into the uSA from Colombia via Mena Arkansas and from Cambodia.  Most surely, these drugs are helping finance terrorism.  But, the ads of the recent past year are claiming that drug purchases are financing foreign entities labeled terrorists.

IF entities of the Middle East are the source of some terrorism, then surely oil sales contribute the lion’s share to financing them.

So, if the lessons we are to learn from the drug/terrorism ads is to quit using drugs whereby reducing terrorism, it follows that we can nearly eliminate terrorism by quit using oil and related products (gas, vinyl, plastic and very much more).

I do not suppose we will ever hear the government and media promote such a remedy.]

Drugs and Terror: Understanding the Link and the Impact on America

There is an undeniable link between acts of terror and illicit drugs. Law enforcement officials around the world have long recognized this close connection, but a changing world and recent events have made this link more relevant in the daily lives of all Americans. The bottom line is simple: terror and drug groups are linked in a mutually-beneficial relationship by money, tactics, geography and politics. Americans must understand that our individual choices about illicit drug use have the power to support or undermine our nation's war on terrorism.

New U.S. ads tie drug use to terrorism funding

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. government spent nearly $3.5 million on two television commercials warning Americans who buy illegal drugs -- especially young people -- that they may be helping to fund terrorism.

The ads debuted during Sunday's Super Bowl.

About half of the international terrorist organizations identified by the United States have been linked to drug trafficking, said John Walters, director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

"Our goal is to ... create awareness about the very link between drug use in this country and the funding of terror around the world," Walters said Monday. "We'll measure some of that awareness in subsequent surveys. But the ultimate goal here is to reduce drug use."

The first 30-second ad asks, "Where do terrorists get their money? If you buy drugs, some of it might come from you."

More gun control, please
Posted: October 24, 2002

provided by Bob

Gun-control proponents, predictably, in the wake of the Beltway sniper, urge still more gun-control laws. So, as news watchers sit through another round of softball interviews with gun-control advocates, we humbly offer Second Amendment-challenged hosts some suggestions for questions:

Why does Switzerland, a country that requires a military-style rifle, plus ammunition, in every home, enjoy a very low homicide rate?

Why does Israel, a country where perhaps 10 percent of citizens possess permits to carry concealed weapons, enjoy a very low murder rate?

Why do gun-control proponents fail to mention countries with homicide rates higher than ours, including Brazil and Russia, with very restrictive gun-control laws?

Why does Washington, D.C., a district whose laws make it illegal to buy, possess, transport or acquire a handgun, experience the highest per capita murder rates in the nation?

Why does Canada, a nation of 31 million citizens, with official estimates of 7 million guns, although other experts place the number at 25 million, enjoy a low per capita murder rate?

Why did America, a hundred years ago, when citizens could purchase guns anonymously and with few of today's restrictions, enjoy a murder rate of 1.2 per 100,000, vs. the 5.5 rate in 2000?

Why don't gun-control proponents talk about the rising murder rate in severely gun-restricted England? "The American murder rate," writes Reason magazine, "which had fluctuated by about 20 percent between 1974 and 1991, was 'in startling free-fall.' We have had nine consecutive years of sharply declining violent crime. As a result the English and American murder rates are converging. In 1981, the American rate was 8.7 times the English rate, in 1995 it was 5.7 times the English rate, and the latest study puts it at 3.5 times." According to Reason, after a few days of crime after crime, "London police are now looking to the New York City police for advice."

Why does The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence's website say, "The risk of homicide in the home is three times greater in households with guns"? They fail to mention that Dr. Kellermann, the expert who came up with that figure, now distances himself from it.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Dr. Kellermann now says, "A gun can be used to scare away an intruder without a shot being fired," although he admits that such events weren't included in his original study. "Simply keeping a gun in the home may deter some criminals who fear confronting an armed homeowner."

Kellermann also admitted, "It is possible that reverse causation accounted for some of the association we observed between gun ownership and homicide, i.e., in a limited number of cases, people may have acquired a gun in response to a specific threat." In other words, some people obtain guns because they are more likely perpetrators, or they fear becoming victims, of violent crime.

How often do Americans use guns each year for defensive purposes, some of whom, but for their guns, might have been killed? Criminologist Gary Kleck estimates that 2.5 million Americans use guns for defensive purposes each year, and approximately 400,000 of them believe someone would have been dead had they not resorted to their defensive use of firearms. A government study put the figure at 1.5 million.

Why do gun-control proponents fail to admit the ineffectiveness of the Brady Act? Following the 1994 Brady Act's imposition of a 5-day waiting period for the 32 states previously not subject to such waiting periods, those states should have seen a reduction in crime, compared to the other 18 "control" states. But according to The Journal of the American Medical Association, "Our analyses provide no evidence that implementation of the Brady Act was associated with a reduction in homicide rates. We find no differences in homicide or firearm homicide rates to adult victims in the 32 states directly subject to the Brady Act provisions compared with the remaining control states." The study did find a decrease in gun suicides for men over 55. But the overall suicide rate remained unchanged. Men over 55 simply resorted to other means to kill themselves.

A father recently sent me the following letter: "I had to go to work unexpectedly one night due to an emergency. My 8-year-old daughter was a little worried that I would be leaving her and my wife alone. We live in a very nice and safe neighborhood but nonetheless she was concerned. I jokingly told her that no bad men would come in our house because I put out a sign that read, 'No Bad Men Allowed.' She frowned and immediately responded, 'Daddy, bad men don't do what the signs say. That's why they're bad.'"

Some things are so complicated only a child can figure them out.
