Does christianity Chase a False God?
This writing is not intended to be a complete telling of this topic, but with a thought to brevity, it should allow for good learning.
Probably no topic or issue can stand alone without consideration for information from other topics and issues.  Therefore, for better understanding of terms and concepts used herein, other papers should be read in conjunction with this paper and others.  One in particular for early reading is What is in a Name

Most words, names and language used herein will be as used and referenced by common chrisitianity.

The Premise

Premise 1    The doctrines of common Christianity claim that the jews are god’s chosen people and that jesus was a jew.

Premise 2    The doctrines of common Christianity claim the jesus came as a prophet, giving signs and wonders.

Premise 3    The doctrines of common Christianity claim that jesus declared he is Lord and the people should go after (follow) him, whom they (jews or later Christians), or their fathers, had NOT known prior to him.  Many say something like the law and other things were nailed to the cross.  Yet, to act contrary to God’s Laws and commandments and follow a different doctrine is to move away from God and follow the doctrines of someone different - a god.  This doctrine claims that jesus preached a doctrine that the people should no longer follow God, but rather follow him - jesus

Premise 4    The doctrines of common Christianity claim that jesus defies the authorities, such as the Pharisees.

How to Apply it

Even if you take a bit of exception to any part of the preceding statements, or claim they do not exactly represent your doctrines, the premise of the preceding statements is what is preached by most common Christian doctrines.

Let us see what this all means by referring to Deuteronomy 13 & 17 & 4.

Premise 1: The doctrines of common Christianity claim that the jews are god’s chosen people and that jesus was a jew.  It is true that jesus was of the lineage of Judah, which is 1/12th of the whole house of Israel.  Judah has never been God’s people, but Israel was and is.  Deuteronomy 13 is talking to Israel and 13:1 tells that a certain prophet will come from them - Israel (the people).

Premise 2: The doctrines of common Christianity claim that jesus came as a prophet, giving signs and wonders, which he did, and this is prophesied in Deuteronomy 13:1.

Premise 3: The doctrines of common Christianity claim that jesus declared he is Lord and the people should go after (follow) himself, whom they, or their fathers, had NOT known prior to him.   Deuteronomy 13:2, 6 & 7 prophesied that this prophet would lead the people to take after and follow other gods (someone other than God the Father (Israel)), and that this prophet would be someone whom they nor their forefathers previously knew.  Certainly, 2000 years ago, the people had not previously known of jesus, and their forefathers definitely did not know him.  Hence, jesus was not known to them (jews?) or their forefathers (Israel”).  Clearly, Israel (or the jews) did not know of jesus prior to his coming as a prophet and working wonders.

Many say something like the law and other things were nailed to the cross.  To act contrary to God’s Laws and commandments and follow a different doctrine is to move away from God and follow the doctrines of a different god.   All this is prophesied in Deuteronomy 13:2, 6 & 7.

This doctrine that jesus came preaching that the law was done away and of no account and other things of the old testament were no longer valid.  Then this would mean that jesus was changing the word which God established and commanded for all your generations.  This is prophesied in Deuteronomy 4:2.

Premise 4: The doctrines of common Christianity claim that jesus defied the authorities, such as the Pharisees.  It was prophesied in Deuteronomy 17:12 that whosoever defies the authorities, such as the Pharisees, should be put to death.  As we all know, jesus was put to death and partly because he defied the authorities.

So What?

If the doctrines of Christians (or anyone else) holds that jesus came and did away with the law and other things which God established “for all your generations”, then they are admitting that jesus is teaching a doctrine other than which God established.

If there is a doctrine today which says that jesus and God are anything but the same person (entity), and they declare jesus was not known prior to 2000 years ago, and they follow and serve jesus, then they are going after a god other than the God of Israel.

If such a person did come preaching these things (as Christians believe) then that person should be put to death (Deuteronomy 13:5 & 9), and he was.

It was written, by inspiration of God, that his people should beware a prophet who will come leading them away from him, the God of Israel (Deuteronomy 13).

Deuteronomy 13:3 clearly tells God’s people NOT to follow this prophet.

I Am

Yahshua at least one time declares he is the creator.  In John 8, the Pharisees are debating with Yahshua about heritage and by what authority Yahshua is doing and proclaiming all that he does.  The exchange brings us to the culmination wherein Yahshua finally settles the matter by saying "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am". Yahshua and the Pharisees were exchanging claims of authority and how their authority comes from their fathers.  The Pharisees were claiming Abraham as their father for authority while Yahshua was claiming Israel as his father for authority.

The Pharisees were referrring to Abraham who was not their direct father, but rather was a forfather, separated by about 2000 years.  Yahshua was likewise referring to an entity not immediately present, but distantly removed.  Both used the noun "father", and both were using it metaphorically.

Yahshua used the nouns "father" and "son" to provide easy distinction between his spiritual self and his physical self.  Just like when you metaphorically wear the hat of a slave at the office, then a hat of a driver on the trip home, then a hat of a cook while preparing dinner, then a hat of a parent while playing with the children, then a hat of a lover while attending you spouse, you are the same person and each person who has contact with you knows you by the contact they have and do not neccessarily know you as any or many of the other entities you manifest.

For example, your children probably know nothing about the you at the office, and the office associates might know a LITTLE about you the parent.  Fellow travelers on the road probably know nothing about you the cook, and your spouse might know a LITTLE about you the driver.  The point being that you exhibit an image of you that fits the time, environment, status and such.  The creator, known as "Yah" and "I Am" and "Yahshua" and "Israel" are the same person, exhibiting different characteristics as needed to fit the circumstances.

If Not One then He is a False God

This primarily hinges on the "christian" premise that God the Father and God the Son are NOT the same entity.  If they are two distinct entities, then "christians" follow a false god as Deuteronomy 13:2, 6 & 7 prophied.  If the Father and the Son are the same entity are one entity, then the Son is not a false god.  Yahshua seems to cut through the matter in John 10:27-33, when he says he and the Father are one.

Disclaimer

NOTHING herein should be taken or construed to mean that I am saying that “Yahshua” (wrongly called jesus) is not who he claims to be, but rather that if the doctrines of Christianity (modern or otherwise) are applied without a proper understanding of their meanings, then surely those who ignorantly (and wrongly) follow this prophet may be following a false prophet.

Deuteronomy 13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
 5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
 6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
 7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
 8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
 10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
 11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

Deuteronomy 17:8 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;
 9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:
 10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
 11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.
 12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
 13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

Deuteronomy 4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

John 8:7 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
 28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
 29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
 30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
 33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
 37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
 47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
 48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
 49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
 50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
 51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
 52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
 53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
 54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
 55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
 57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

John 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
 30 I and my Father are one.
 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
