Are You Saved?
.
Are You Born Again?

This writing is not intended to be a complete telling of this topic, but with a thought to brevity, it should allow for good learning.
Probably no topic or issue can stand alone without consideration for information from other topics and issues.  Therefore, for better understanding of terms and concepts used herein, other papers should be read in conjunction with this paper and others.  One in particular for early reading is What is in a Name

Is that not the question that seems to be asked most often, especially in the "religions" of Christians?

Between whether you are “born again” and if you are “saved”, what else seems to be paramount on the minds of the mindless followers of Christianity?  Yes, most of them are mindless regarding the details and messages of Scripture.  Most of them parrot "sound good" and "feel good" things they got from fancy looking and sounding people commonly called preachers, ministers, pastors, and such.

What is the question?

If you claim to be "saved", is there a question unanswered?  I meet you on the street and report that I just saved Bob, do you have any questions about what I said?  Do you want to know if I saved Bob from drowning?  What about saving Bob from a fire?  Is there a question that goes unanswered when I tell you I saved Bob?  Of course there is.  You need to know from what Bob was saved.  Just being saved, without delineating from what, is meaningless.  When you answer that question Scripturally, then some of the points about being "saved" become obvious.

Being "saved" is being save from DEATH.  Someone people will say it is being saved from hell.  Hell is death (see writings of Heaven and Hell).  Simply put, either you will be alive eternally or you will be dead (Romans 6:23 en# 3.1) .  If you are saved, then you are not dead.

Zealots

Credit must be given to the religions of the world, other than Christianity.  Why?  Because most of them at least have read and/or continue to read their Bible.  Many of them even know much of their own Bible rather well.  Notice I did not say they understand.  Maybe they do understand their Bible, maybe not.  But at least they have read it.

The Jews of the modern world actually study their Bible called the Talmud.  The point being that if you study it then you might actually make your own mind of what it says.  Most so called christians only follow what some yelling, blathering, getting rich (I have nothing against getting rich), deceiver says, and never know whether what he or she says is true of false.  They cannot talk about what they hear.  Some might be able to repeat the disjointed quips and quotes, but making the connections are not possible.

So, give the religions of the world their due, in that their followers give more than lip service to their religion and maybe even their god.

Defining the Players

To focus on the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we can categorize the target group into two religious peoples.  They are popularly known as Jews and Christians.  Scripture say the people of Yah are known as Israelites, and then subdivided into two groups called Israel and Judah, with both sub groups being 2 parts of the whole of Israel.  One of the sub groups keeps the family name and the other takes a name from 1/12th of the family.  But for this treatise, Jew and Christian will suffice.  A point that many so called christians seem to miss is that the beginnings of their religion from the Apostles forward were at the hands of converted Jews of 2000 years ago.  With this knowlege, we should realize that Peter, Paul, Timothy, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and the others all had to unlearn what they knew and follow this supposed new way.

Around the 2nd century, the Jews had cemented their move from the words of “Israel” (the creator) (read the paper “What is in a Name” regarding the use of the name "I Israel" (the creator)) and made their oral laws into written laws and called them the Talmud.  Now they practice a religion different than what their fathers (Abraham, Isaac & Jacob) knew and it is called Judaism.

The Jews of about 2000 years ago, were practicing Judaism and had moved away from what Israel (the creator) had instructed.  Some of these Jews seeing the truth in the teachings of Israel/Yahshua (read the paper “What is in a Name” to understand the use of the name Israel for the Messiah) and his disciples elected to follow them.  This required them to have to unlearn what they spent their whole lives learning and in a manner of speaking, return to the old ways of Israel (the creator), which is what Israel/Yahshua was teaching.

Sometime during the period of the 2nd century through even today, the Christians (which comprised descendents of the original converted Jews and many Gentiles/lost tribes of Israel) have continued to remold their religion.  But somewhere around the 4th century, with Emperor Constantine, the so called Christians really took a leap from the religion of their fathers (Abraham, Isaac & Jacob).  There were other milestones which made branches away from the true path and each branch has actually managed to make a grafting into other branches, so that today most every branch sees basically the same way, but through different colored glasses.

In any event the Jews and the Christians have really gone astray from what they claim as their origins.  On second thought, the Christians do whatever they can to distance themselves from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Recently, I spoke with someone who held the mis-guided belief that the whole thing (Scripture, the promises, the Kindgom, etc) is about the Jews.  Upon questioning them, we worked the history backwards and when asked who was Jacob, they answer Israel, who was the descendant of Abraham.  When asked how many sons Jacob had, a blank stare came over their face.  Somehow they thought that Jew came directly from Jacob/Israel, omitting the 12 sons of Jacob/Israel, hence Israel and Jew were synonymous.  Through all the doctrine they had learned they missed a whole big part of history including Joseph's captivity, followed by Jacob taking his family to Egypt, which led to years of living in Egypt and their ultimate Exodus from Egypt at the leadership of Moses.  What must be asked is - how did this person fit the Jacob / Egyptian / Moses / Exodus (more than one whole book of the Bible) saga in the scheme of things to get only Jews?  At best, any Jew can only claim the title from 1/12th of Jacob's family, the part of Judah.

What does "Saved" Mean?

Having said all that, before we can say whether we are “saved”, we must know what the terms are.  Being “saved” and being “born again” are rather the same thing.  SHOCK.  Most people are right now saying I am crazy.  But, if you are still with me, I will lead you down a path found in Scripture.

Being saved simply means you are granted eternal life.  There are at least two prevailing thoughts on the matter.  The first is that we are saved and CAN loose it, the other is that we are saved and CANNOT loose it.  I said these are the prevailing thoughts.  A third thought is not prevailing, but is a viable thought.  The third thought is that we are not yet saved, and once saved we CAN loose it.

Looking at the third thought is, expected by its proof, to be enough to discount the first two.

If you are of the thought that we are already saved, then what purpose is the white throne judgment?

Take a look at Revelation 20:5-15 (en# 1.1).  Here we are told of the white throne judgement and the first resurrection.  WHAT happens at this white throne judgment and WHEN does it happen?

Revelation 20 tells us the white throne judgment happens after the first resurrection happens.  The first resurrection happens at the return of Israel (the creator) (read the paper “What is in a Name” to understand the use of the name Israel for the Messiah).  In 1 Corinthians 15:52 (en# 2.1) we are told of the first resurrection and Revelation 20 tells us that the first resurrection is followed by a judgment in front of the white throne.  Those judged negatively will be cast aside and die (the 2nd death?).  Romans 6:23 (en# 3.2) tells us that the wages of sin are death.  Those judged positively will be granted eternal life, or “saved” from death, (the 2nd death?).

If you contend we are already saved, prior to Israel’s (the creator) returning, then how could we be saved at the judgment?  For those who believe “once saved always saved”, then how do they explain the white throne judgment, or any judgment?

We can not enter the Kingdom till we are resurrected in the first resurrection.  This implies we must first die.  If we first must die, then how can a person both die and be saved from death at the same time.

Hebrews 9:27 (en# 15) tells us that all men must die, at least the first death.  Revelation 20:6 and Revelation 5:10 (en# 1.2 and en# 11.2) tells us that hose resurrected (in the 1st resurrection) will enter the Kindom of Heaven and rule as Kings and Priests.

If you are taken before death, then surely you are not destined to enter the Kingdom.

Once we are judged and granted salvation (saved), can we loose eternal life?  Did Satan loose it?  Did Adam loose it?  With these people, we have evidence that someone who was granted eternal life lost it.  A look at Hebrews 10:26 (en# 4) tells us that once we have the knowledge of the truth, there is no more sacrifice to forgive us our sins.  This simply means that after being "saved" there are no more second chances, no more sacrifices or deaths to forgive us.  When do we have the knowledge of the truth? 1 Timothy (en# 9) tells that those saved have come to the knowledge of the truth.   Hence, once saved, there is no more second chances.

Hebrews 6:1-7 (en# 5) iterates the same in different words.

Why would Israel tell us there are no more second chances?  I mean, if once saved we are perfect and not capable of sinning, why do we need the admonishment to be careful because we have no more second chance, no more forgiveness for sins.  Simple, once granted salvation it is still possible to sin, and IF we sin just one time, we loose the salvation and he “knows us not” (Matthew 25:12 (en# 6), Luke 13:25&27 (en# 7)).  In the cases of Matthew and Luke, we have a group of people who made it to the wedding and a group who did not.  Those who were worthy (made it to the wedding) were granted entry and the remainder Israel said “I know you not”.  Notice the present tense.  At the time of the judgment, he casts you to death and does not know you.  He may have known you previously, but now he does not know you.  If Israel does not know you, yet he knows everthing, then you never existed.  In other words, for all your efforts, when the time comes to be judged, it can all be for naught.

Passing the White Throne Judgment is a granting of salvation.  You still have to do you part to get it and keep it, and keep doing it.  There is nothing automatic about salvation and nothing permanent about it.

Once "Saved" and in the Kingdom, you must have a spirit component about you.  What this means is that whether you are wholly spirit or partially spirit, you must at least have a spirit nature, or element, about you, to enter the kingdom.  John 3:5 (en# 8.2) makes this clear.  Remember when Israel rose from Earth, then ascended to Heaven, then returned to Earth?  Remember, Thomas touching him?  Remember Israel walking through walls?  Thomas' touching Israel is evidence of him having a physical nature, and walking through walls is evidence of him having a spiritual nature.  Verse 5 says that in order that we may enter the Kingdom, we must be born of water (physical) and of spirit.

What does "Born Again" Mean?

There are those who say they are born again.  Maybe they can have a revelation in their life that causes them to feel like a new person and their life may be radically altered.  This may cause them to feel like a new person and in that sense the term “born again” may be appropriate.  But in the scriptural sense, "born again" has a bit different meaning.  John 3:3 (en# 8.1) tells us that those who are born again can see the Kingdom of Heaven.  The act of being "Born Again" is a matter of taking on a nature of being a spirit.  Only those who are born of water (flesh) AND spirit can enter the Kingdom.

Another Example of Being "Born Again"

There are several examples of what it means to be born again.  One such example is found at John 12 24-25 [en# 19]

Yahshua is telling us that if you try to hold to the fleshly life, you will lose your spirit (eternal) life (love flesh more than spirit).  But if you are willing to loose your fleshly life to gain your spirit (eternal) life, you will gain your spirit (eternal) life (love spirit more than flesh).

Before Yahshua said that, he gave an example by using agricultural terms.  A principle of plant, is that a grain of wheat (or whatever seed) does not die it cannot make way for the germination of the new plant.  The shell of the seed must die to allow the germ material within to be exposed and grow to a new and different plant.  It will not be the same plant as the first one, but is born from the efforts of the first.

In verse 24, Yahshua talks in terms of this law of nature, to relate the process of being “born again”.  If a grain of wheat DOES NOT fall to the ground and die, it will NOT bring new life, conversely, if a grain of wheat DOES fall to the ground and DIE, it WILL bring new life.

Unless your flesh body dies, you can not have a spirit body.

They are the Same

Those "Saved" and those "Born Again" both must have a spirit nature or element about them, which enables them to see and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.  Being "Born Again" and being "Saved" from death are the same thing.

Now What?

The saved people will inherit Earth and Earth is the Kingdom of Heaven (see paper on “Inherit the Kingdom”).  After being changed we are told we that those "Saved", will be in the Kingdom of Heaven and reigning as Kings and Priests of Israel. (Revelation 1:6 and Revelation 5:10) (en# 10 anden# 1.1)  Think about it, over whom will Yah's people be reigning and preaching?

Once saved, we are changed, we are in the Kingdom of Heaven, and we have no more chances for forgiveness.  (Hebrews 10:26) (en# 12)  So, once saved, you better not ever again sin, or like Lucifer and Adam you will fall from Grace and be expelled from the Kingdom of Heaven - you will die.

The moment of conversion is when Israel (the physical manifestation of God – see the paper “What is in a Name”) returns.  We will be changed and meet him in the spirit (1 Corinthians 15:51-52) (en# 2.2).  The various translations using the word "air", are refering to "spirit".  This is when we begin the process of being judged and begin translated (converted), or condemned to death (death is hell - see paper on "Heaven and Hell").

During the second coming of Israel and the 1st resurrection, we will be transformed (1 Corinthians 15:52 en# 2.3).  This is when we will take on Pentecostal style transformations.  Like Israel upon his resurrection, we will be both flesh and spirit. We will have the same type existence, of water (flesh) and "spirit" and only then are we “born again” and can enter the Kingdom.  Only then will we be saved, hence be granted salvation.

Being "born again" and being "saved" are, in effect, the same. You cannot be born again or saved till shortly after the second coming of Israel, at the white throne judgment.

Show Me Your Spirit

REMEMBER:  if you are spirit, then you must have the qualities of spirit.  In John 3:3-8 (en# 8.3), we are told that the spirit is like the wind.  You can hear the sound made by it blowing, but can not tell from where it comes or where it goes.  In other words, you can observe the effects of the wind, but can not see the wind.  Being of the spirit is like the wind.  You can have an effect on things, but you can not be seen - in the spirit.  So, if you claim to be "born again" or "saved", then you must at least have spirit qualities, as says Scripture.  Therefore, we can not see you in the spirit.

You should be now be getting the idea that this offer for becoming spirit, and inheriting the Kingdom, has been available to all people at all times.  It is not a new thing started about 2000 years ago and it is not unique to only a select people who profess a wrong name (see writing "What is in a Name").

Spirit, Soul &Flesh

Our interest should be the saving (salvation) of the soul, not the flesh or the spirit.  The flesh and spirit are only vessels for containing the soul.

Soul – the essence of what we are.

The fleshly creature contains a soul - a living soul.  [Genesis 2:7 en# 20]

Israel (the people), fleshly creatures, have souls.  If a person is of the family of Israel, they have a soul. [Exodus 12:15 en# 21]

At a time just prior to the 2nd coming of the Messiah, the 2nd angel will empty his vial and every living fleshly body will die and even their soul will die.  [Revelation 16:3 en# 22]

Flesh – a manifestation of existence from birth from a womb till “born again”.

The flesh can be killed without killing the soul, so the soul and flesh are not the same [Matthew 10:28 en# 23]

Lusts of the flesh war against the soul, so the soul and flesh are not the same. [1 Peter 2:11 en# 24]

Spirit – a manifestation of existence from “born again through eternity or till Gehenna death.

If you are born again, and therefore of a spirit, you do not have flesh and bones.  Have you ever broken a bone?  If yes, then your are not spirit.  When Yahshua returned and visited his  Disciples in the upper room, he was of a composite of Spirit and Flesh.  He had not yet ascended, that would not happen till Pentecost. [Luke 24:39 en# 25]

The soul and spirit can be parted, so they are not the same [Hebrews 4:11-13 en# 26]

Spirit, Soul & Flesh

If you choose to profit in the flesh to the detriment of you soul, you will loose your soul.  It will be difficult to get a spirit body if you blow it in the flesh  Uh oh, there again is that nasty word “works”, but this is Yahshua talking and not me [Matthew 16:25-28 en# 27, Mark 8:37en# 28]

1 Corinthians 15:38-54 [en# 29] makes it very clear?  There 1st is the flesh body which after it dies comes a resurrection in a Spirit body.  The soul passed from the flesh body to the spirit body [verse 44].  Adam represents the 1st body of flesh and Yahshua represents the 2nd body of spirit [verse 45].  Again, you are told the a flesh body comes 1st, then comes a spirit body [verse 46].  Remember, flesh can not inherit the Kingdom, but spirit can inherit the Kingdom [verse 47-51].  You must have a spirit body to inherit the Kingdom, not just some feeling of spirit in flesh [verse 50].

The SOUL, the SPIRIT, and the FLESH are 3 different things [1 Thessalonians 5: en# 30]

How is it that every reference to the bodies of the flesh and spirit are vessels for the soul, but never is the spirit IN the flesh?

Spirit of Israel (the creator)

A new birth in spirit as shown in the above selections and in recent writing on these topics, is different than having the spirit of Israel (the creator) in you.

These two uses of the word “spirit” should not be confused or blended.

Many people confuse being “born again” in a “spirit” body as having the Holy Spirit in them.

Can a soul die?

Without much fanfare, look at Ezekiel 18:4 [en# 31].  A soul can die.  So much for "once save always saved".

The obvious and simple answer is YES!  A sould can die. [Ezekiel 18:20 en# 32]

After a soul comes to the "knowldge of the truth" there is no more forgiveness, there is no more paying the price for your screw-ups, there is no more 2nd chances.

Hebrews 10:26 [en# 33] gives us a warning about a soul dieing.  More on this can be found in a paper called "Saved by Grace or What" probably available at the same source as this paper.

Endure till the End & Call upon his Name

If you want a time when you will be saved (if worthy), then let Israel tell you as he did in Matthew 24:13 (en# 13).  Israel said that those who endure till the end shall be saved.  Israel was asked by his disciples about the timing of his return and he explained the events that will be witnessed preceding his return, then those who endured the tribulation will be saved.  If you are already saved, what purpose is there for enduring the tribulation?  None.

Another condition of being saved is for those who call upon the name of the Lord (Romans 10:13) (en# 14).  For more on the name of the Lord, see the paper "What is in a Name".  But suffice it to say that if you do not know his name(s), then how can you be saved now or later?  Most "christians do not know the name(s) of God, but they well know titles and nouns for referring to him.

There is no salvation till the white throne judgement.  Only then will these and other conditions be examined and a judgment made.

Saved?  When?

Regardless of the pre-requisites for being SAVED, the question now is simply - WHEN.

Many make a doctrine and whole religion on a premise that the death of the Messiah was the moment of SAVING some people.  This of course raises the obvious issue - if a certain people are already saved, then what prevents those people from doing anything they desire?  There are many people who somehow hold a double minded thought on this.  They claim they are already saved, and will be saved at the return of the Messiah.

Double Minded

A double minded person is one who holds 2 contradictory thoughts or beliefs as both being true.  Being doubled minded is also baring false witness.  If either is true then the other is false and you hold both as ture.

Scripture tells us not to be doubled minded.

James 1:8-9 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Psalms 119:113 SAMECH. I hate vain [double-minded] thoughts: but thy law do I love.

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

So?  When?

It is at the 2nd coming of the Messiah, which will "SAVE" his people.  It was not a death, a resurrection, a faith, a works, it WAS nothing which HAS SAVED anybody.  Even those who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture profess the Messiah will come to SAVE them from the tribulation.  Even their doctrine (false as it is) are correct in the general timing, although they also say they were already saved at some "cross", but they also say they will be save at the end.

His professed purpose for returning is to save his elect.

The parable of the tares (Matthew 13:24-43 en# 16) is a good example (and was intended as such) to describe what happens at the end of times.  The tares are allowed to remain with the wheat and grow side-by-side.  At the time of harvest, the tares are first gathered and burned.  Then, the wheat is gathered and SAVED in the barn.

The Messiah says immediately after the tribulation he will return and gather his elect (Matthew 24:28-31 en# 17 and March 13:19-27 en# 18).  When he gathers his elect from the sea of sharks (metaphorically) is when he SAVES them from the sharks.

None were saved at the 1st coming of the Messiah, but some will be SAVED at the 2nd coming.

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and
a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a
thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive
the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little
season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of
them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped
the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they
lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first
resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to
gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the
beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled
away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book
was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in
them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Romans 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your
members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants
to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is
death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and
the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
 32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Luke 13:18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from
God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into
his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he
cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it
cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive
not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man
which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be
saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because
he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of
the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and
ever. Amen.
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all
kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David,
hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders,
stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God
sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb,
having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for
thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people,
and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Hebrew 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into
their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Romans 10:7
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Hebrews 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but
into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with
blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the
world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear
the second time without sin unto salvation.

Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
 37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

Hebrews 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

1 Corinthians 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. [Flesh bodies and spirit bodies]
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: [Flesh is corruption and spirit is incorruption]
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
